What is ART Therapy??
Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART)
Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) is a type of therapy designed to help people process and reduce the emotional impact of difficult or traumatic experiences.

More about ART..
In simple terms, ART helps you change the way distressing memories are stored in your brain. With the guidance of a trained therapist, you may briefly focus on a troubling memory while using specific eye movements or other forms of bilateral stimulation. The therapist then helps you replace distressing images, feelings, or beliefs connected to the memory with more positive or peaceful ones.
ART can help with:
-
Trauma and PTSD
-
Anxiety and panic
-
Grief and loss
-
Phobias and fears
-
Depression
-
Relationship difficulties
-
Distressing or upsetting memories
-
One of the goals of ART is not to erase the memory, but to help you remember what happened without experiencing the same intense emotional or physical reaction.
