What is Play Therapy??
Play therapy is a specialized form of counseling that helps children express their thoughts, feelings, and experiences through play when they may not have the words to explain them.

More about Play Therapy...
Children don't always have the words to explain what they're thinking or feeling. Instead, they often express themselves through play. Play therapy uses this natural form of communication to help children process difficult emotions, experiences, and challenges in a safe, supportive environment.
Designed for children ages 3 to 11, play therapy can help with concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, behavioral challenges, emotional regulation, social difficulties, life transitions, and family changes.
During sessions, children play with carefully selected toys, games, art supplies, and other therapeutic materials while a trained play therapist observes, guides, and supports them. Rather than simply "playing," children are learning healthy ways to express emotions, cope with difficult experiences, build confidence, improve relationships, develop problem-solving skills, and manage their behavior.
The playroom is intentionally designed to feel safe, welcoming, and accepting so children can explore their thoughts and feelings at their own pace. As trust develops between the child and therapist, healing and growth naturally begin to take place.
Play therapy gives children a voice when words are hard to find, helping them build the skills they need to thrive both now and in the future.
